80 persons gathered in Bioruukki research facilities to enjoy the After Work event with VTT and PI. We heard about VTT's bioeconomy research and VTT's and Aalto university's joint Finnish Academy competence centre, FinnCeres.
Pia Qvintus presented also seven companies being at the commercialization phase, some of them originated from VTT: Paptic, Sulapac, Woodly, Lumir, Spinnova, Infinited Fiber Company and Woodio.
The young reserchers attending Marcus Wallenberg Prize Young Researchers’ Challenge got pitching lessons in the morning and show their cababilities with great pitches. We also familiriazed ourselves with the batch and pilot scale research facilities at Bioruukki and different biomaterials.
