The PulPaper event for the forest and packaging industry gathered more than 9200 participants in the Exhibition Center over three days. The event showed that the industry looks towards the future and companies develop their business in a digitizing world, with emphasis on responsibility.
The event included nearly 500 companies from the giants of the forest industry to small start-ups. The departments and programs emphasized the potential of rotary economics, new materials, innovative packaging, IOT, artificial intelligence and added reality.
-The theme of the renewed PulPaper and the new cooperation with the packaging and bioenergy industry attracted a lot of interest and, the number of conference participants nearly tripled from the previous one. The strong faith in the future of the industry was also reflected in the positive atmosphere of the event, which an experienced visitor summarized to the words: "PulPaper has returned to its roots," says Antti Lindqvist, CEO of PI.
