The Employer of The Future Theme Day, aimed at students attending the Pulp & Beyond fair, offers a unique opportunity to network and learn about career opportunities in the field. Additionally, students will have the chance to embark on an exclusive cruise to Stockholm, where we will visit AFRY's headquarters and Stora Enso's innovation center.
The Pulp & Beyond event showcases innovations, products, services, and technologies in the forest-based bioeconomy on April 10-11, 2024, at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre. Pulp & Beyond serves as a leading international forum, continuing the success story of PulPaper.
On the second day of the event, Thursday, April 11, an Employer of The Future Theme Day is organized specifically for students. This day offers students the perfect opportunity to meet representatives from industry-leading companies, who will provide insights into job opportunities and internships. Additionally, there will be programs tailored to students, including practical career advice.
Transportation to Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre from different cities
PI has collaborated with different universities and colleges to organize transportation from Åbo Akademi, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, LUT University, and Savonlinna Campus (South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences). Transportation is scheduled so that students can attend the Employer of The Future Theme Day on April 11, with return trips also arranged for the same day. Additionally, a limited number of students from the University of Oulu will have their expenses covered for the overnight train journey to Helsinki and back on the same day (April 11).

An excursion to Stockholm on April 11-13
As part of the Pulp & Beyond event, PI organizes a a cruise to Stockholm from April 11th to 13th. In Stockholm, students will have a unique opportunity to visit AFRY's headquarters and Stora Enso's innovation center. Participation in the cruise requires participation in the Pulp & Beyond fair and is FREE of charge for all students.
