Discover the secrets of Finnish forests - a unique forest trip for international students to Nemus Futurum
After the summer, Finnish Forest Product Engineers' Association (PI) will organise a special forest trip for foreign bachelor, master’s and doctoral students. This trip offers students a unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of Finnish forests in Metsä Group's Nemus Futurum in Lohja.
The forest trip is particularly intended for those who want to learn more about Finland’s nature and ecosystems, as well as learn about Finnish forest management practices and sustainable development principles.
Joint transportation will be arranged from Espoo. The program and transportation are free of charge.
Schedule:
12:45 Departure from Otaniemi (Tekniikantie 4C, Espoo)
14:00 Light refreshments (coffee/tea and something sweet) at Nemus Futurum
14:30 1st and 2nd groups' tour at Nemus Futurum (in two busses). The tour ends at a lean-to where a small snack is provided.
18:00 Return to Otaniemi (possibly a short stop at a store)
