PI's Spring Summit 2025

Uncertainties and Renewal as key themes of the Spring Summit

PI's Spring Summit will be held on April 24, 2025 at the Scandic Marina Congress Center, Helsinki.

The Spring Summit is free of charge for all PI members and it will be held as a hybrid event that can be participated in remotely or in person. Only the first 200 may attend the event in person.

The Summit day will begin with PI’s Annual meeting, where, in addition to the statutory matters, the association’s revised strategy for 2025–2030 will be presented.

The main theme of the Spring Summit is The Renewal of the Forest Industry in Times of Uncertainty. The programme will explore various geopolitical and economic risks and uncertainties that naturally impact the forest industry. At the same time, our sector continues its transformation, and we want to highlight inspiring examples and effective ways to innovate amid uncertainty.

Among the speakers are Tuuli Koivu, Chief Economist, Nordea; Mika Aaltola, MEP, European Parliament; Antti Salminen, CEO, Kemira and Matti Mikkola, Managing director, Federation of the Finnish Woodworking Industries. The event will be hosted by MTV news anchor and journalist Jesse Kamras.

As a special program for students and recent graduates, we will also organize an excursion to Stora Enso’s headquarters.

The full program and registration details will be published on PI’s website in the coming weeks. Mark the date in your calendar now!

Please note the programme will be held in Finnish.
