Welcome to the ForestBioFacts webinar!
ForestBioFacts webinar: Cellulose-based textiles changing the fashion business proudly presented by Finnish Forest Products Engineers’ Association (PI), and scheduled for March 26th at 15:00-16.30 EET. Register by March 25th to secure your spot!
The future of textiles is in wood. Currently, approximately 60 percent of the materials used in fashion business are made of fossil-based polymers. Wood- and cellulose-based textile fibre innovations play an important role in replacing fossil-based raw materials thus decreasing the impact on environment and creating new business opportunities.
Join us in the webinar where we delve into how wood- and cellulose-based textiles are reshaping the landscape of sustainable and circular textile practices. During the webinar, we discuss how regulation can enable the sector to become greener and more competitive, explore the pivotal role of sustainable chemistry, and present one of the latest innovations in the field; wood-based fleece.
